Change doesn’t always announce itself

Sometimes it barges in — a layoff, an empty nest, a relationship that ends.

Other times, it whispers: a quiet restlessness, a longing for more, a nudge that you’ve outgrown who you’ve been.

A few years ago, I packed up my life and moved across the country.

No furniture.
No familiar faces.
Just a new relationship, a couple of bags, and a gut feeling that it was time for something different.

I didn’t have a job waiting.

I didn’t know anyone in my new city.

I had no roadmap — just a mix of fear, hope, and the deep desire to begin again.

And while the change was exciting, it was also disorienting.

"What do I want from this next chapter?" I asked.

It's funny that big change can feel so empowering and terrifying at the same time.

Here’s what I’ve come to know, in my own journey and in coaching other women through theirs:

✨ Change is rarely linear.
✨ It often comes with grief, uncertainty, and identity shifts.
✨ But it also brings freedom, clarity, and an invitation to realign with what matters most.

If you’ve navigated a big life change—or are in the middle of one now—I’d love to hear your story.
