You don't have to do it alone

Consider the possibility that you can’t do it all alone. Nor should you. This lesson has taken me some time to learn. In the past, I seldom (if ever) gave myself permission to ask for help. I thought it meant I was weak or dumb, only making me feel sad and alone. I’d even get angry sometimes, especially when I didn’t know how to do something. Finally, I looked up from my circumstances, saw the bigger picture, and noticed that I had people in my life who were happy to help; all I had to do was ask. When I did, I felt supported, loved, and connected. Just because you ask for support, it doesn't mean you’re weak or dumb. In fact, it means that you’re courageous and smart.
